Miranda Bergs is a Minnesota artist whose work explores symbolism, nature, faith, and attentive observation through hand-cut paper, watercolor, and mixed media. Alongside her studio practice, she is completing a Master of Divinity degree and pursuing chaplaincy, experiences that continue to shape both her creative work and writing.

One Piece at a Time

Like a self-guided puzzle, Miranda takes each cut, blot, or stitch as a series of gradual unfolding, slowing building up to a larger assembly. Color selection is based on mood, temperature and pulse.

Known primarily for paper cutting, Miranda also explores watercolor, embroidery, printmaking and mixed media.
